Privacy policy

Kelhis (operated by Riold LLC, "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

What we collect

When you visit our store or place an order, we collect the following information:

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number. Email address and phone number are required for orders; the carrier uses the phone number for delivery.
• Shipping information: mailing address
• Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe, and Amazon Pay or PayPal where offered). We do not see or store your card details.
• Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, referring site. Part of it is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, see "Visit history on our website" below.

How we use your information

• To fulfill and ship your orders
• To send order confirmations and shipping updates
• To respond to your questions and support requests
• To send one reminder email if you start a checkout and do not pay (see "Cart reminder" below)
• To improve our website and product offerings

Cart reminder

If you enter your email address on our checkout page and do not complete the payment, we send you one email about 10 hours later with a link back to your cart. An address gets at most one such reminder per week. Every reminder has a link to unsubscribe from reminders; emails about your orders are not affected.

Visit history on our website

Our website keeps its own record of visits. A first-party cookie with a random identifier recognizes your browser. For each visit we store the pages viewed and when, the referring site and campaign parameters of the link, your browser language, your IP address, and the approximate country and city derived from it. Country and city are looked up on our own server in the GeoLite database of MaxMind, Inc.; your IP address is not sent to MaxMind. This product includes GeoLite Data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com. If you place an order, we link this history to your order. We use it to understand how visitors find and use our store. These records stay on our servers and are not passed to third parties without your consent. Detailed visit records are deleted after 90 days.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate our store:

• Hosting and content delivery: our website runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH and is delivered through the Cloudflare network.
• Stripe: payment processing, also for payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Depending on your country, Stripe also offers Bancontact, BLIK, Przelewy24, EPS, MB WAY, Satispay or Cash App Pay; with these you confirm the payment with your bank or in the provider's app. For the Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons we load Stripe's script (Stripe.js) on the checkout page. It sets Stripe's own cookies and sends device and browser data and your IP address to Stripe to protect payments against fraud (Stripe Privacy Policy)
• Amazon Pay: if you choose Amazon Pay at checkout (where offered), you sign in to your Amazon account and Amazon Payments, Inc. processes the payment (Amazon Payments Privacy Notice)
• PayPal: payment processing where offered (PayPal Privacy Statement)
• Google Workspace (Google LLC): our email service. It sends order, shipping and cart reminder emails and messages from our contact form, and holds our email correspondence (Google Privacy Policy)
• Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, DPD, our warehouses and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment receive your name, shipping address and phone number to deliver your order
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: website traffic analysis and ad measurement, with your consent (in the United States until you opt out, see "Cookies")
• Meta (Facebook, Instagram): ad measurement through the Meta Conversions API, sent from our server, with your consent (in the United States until you opt out): the pages you view and your purchases, with your IP address and browser type, and for orders your email address and phone number as a hash. We do not use the Meta Pixel.
• OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads): ad measurement sent from our server, with your consent (in the United States until you opt out)

These services have access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are bound by their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your data

We will never sell or rent your personal information. We share limited information about your visits and purchases (for example, the pages viewed and the order value) with the advertising services listed above to measure our ads: in the United States unless you opt out, elsewhere only with your consent. You can refuse or withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings (in the United States: Your Privacy Choices).

Cookies

Our store uses cookies that it needs to work: to keep your shopping cart, remember your country and language, protect forms, and remember your cookie choice. On the checkout page, Stripe also sets cookies that protect payments against fraud (see "Third-party services"). A first-party cookie also recognizes your browser for our own visit history (see above). Analytics and advertising cookies and tags are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Visitors in the United States see no banner: for them these cookies and tags are on until they opt out under Your Privacy Choices. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal (opt-out) of advertising. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings and also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

Data retention

We retain your order information for as long as necessary to fulfill our legal and business obligations (tax records, warranty claims, etc.). Detailed visit records are deleted after 90 days. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of marketing communications

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We share personal information for advertising as described under "We do not sell your data", and you can opt out at any time under Your privacy choices or with a Global Privacy Control signal.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
